sharing my adventures
I started my journey as just a pilot who wanted to see the world, but after taking my first flight lesson something in me changed. Traveling to new places was amazing but being able to share the experience and tell a story through photography was even better.
This was a day trip to Dismal’s Canyon in northern Alabama. It’s a place known for being the hideout of outlaw Rube Burrors in the 1800’s. Not far from the bridge is Temple Cave, a bluff shelter about 10,000 years ago was the home to a tribe of Paleo Indians. Spear points have been found all over the area and along with a large rock used for grinding corn at the entrance.
The Redwoods
After a weekend hanging out with my brother near Eureka and hiking Little Black Sands Beach at Shelter Cove, we took a slight detour off the main highway for a longer more scenic drive through the worlds tallest trees. This road is called “Avenue of the Giants” in Northern California. Amazing old-growth redwoods.

Benicia, CA… My hometown.
First Street runs through downtown and takes you all the way to the Carquinez Strait, a part of the San Francisco Bay, and at the very end of the street is an old pier jettisoning out into the water.
Like the Fall Season?
I woke up one Saturday morning, took a look outside, and noticed the leaves starting to fall. So I had to find a good trail nearby with lots of trees starting to turn into those magical Fall colors. I took many photos that day but none were better than the one I took at my feet as I was leaving the park.
